Parent portal

At Bankstown Girls High School we use parent portal apps to make communication and admin easier for families. These tools help you:

• make payments quickly and securely
• view academic reports
• stay up to date with school events
• record absences.

Our parent portal apps

The Parent Portal is where parents can access information regarding their child. You can:

• message your child's teacher
• access your child's timetable
• view attendance history
• see school reports
• access assessment policies

All families are invited to use the Sentral Parent Portal to receive information about your child and communicate with the school. The parent portal key to set up access can be arranged by emailing the school and mark your email to the attention of Mr Krishnal Mohan after students are enrolled at the school and are in attendance.

Using the Parent Portal

• Click on the Parent Portal link above.
• Your login page for the Portal will appear.
• Enter your email address and the password you created when you first registered.

Sending a message to a Teacher

• When you first log in you will see a screen with your student’s picture.
• On the top of this page click on the fourth icon across the top that reads ‘Messages’.
• Click on the grey ‘New Message’ button on the top right hand side (below Logout button).
• Select your student’s teacher from the drop down list and your student from the Student drop down list.
• Type your message and hit Send Message (green button).
