Students Who have been Issued with a device for online learning

School attendance
Your daughter should be at school unless:
• She has a medical certificate which states that she is unable to return to school due to an ongoing medical condition
• She is currently unwell.
Students who have a medical certificate to stay at home will be supported to learn from home in line with regular procedures if they are able to. These regular procedures are different to what was offered during the learning from home period. If you require work to be provided to your daughter whilst she is at home due to an underlying health condition, you are to contact the school on 9709 6788 and speak to your daughter’s year advisor.
Please note, students who live with a family member in one of the categories identified as being at increased risk by the AHPPC, should attend school unless a medical practitioner advises otherwise in writing.
If your daughter is unwell, do not send them to school. If she is unwell at school, you or your nominated emergency contact will need to collect them immediately. Please make sure your contact details are up to date.
If your daughter is absent without a medical reason for more than three days, this will be recorded as an unauthorised absence and will be followed up.
If you need any support to get your daughter back to school, please contact the school on 9709 6788 and speak to the Principal, Mrs Bilali.
Hygiene at School
Guidelines indicate that school students do not need to follow social distancing guidelines, however they are expected to follow good hygiene practices like:
· Regularly washing hands
· Avoiding sharing drinks or food
· Coughing or sneezing into your elbow, or a tissue which should be discarded immediately.
In addition, all classrooms have been allocated hand sanitiser and surface cleaning material. Hand sanitiser dispensers have been set up in building corridors for students to use.
Reporting for Semester 1
You will receive a Semester 1 report for you daughter that will describe her progress based on the face-to-face learning that occurred at the beginning of term 1 and the learning your daughter did through the “Learning from Home” arrangements.
Reports for years 7-11 will be modified to include a common set of academic & social outcomes for all subjects as well as a comment from the class teacher(s).
There is no change to the current format of year 12 reports and these will be issued shortly.
