‘Chikushi Jogakuen’ junior school in Japan visits BGHS

Bankstown Girls High School proudly hosts an international visit from our sister school ‘Chikushi Jogakuen’ junior school in Japan. Our guests are welcomed by members of the Student Representative council, who act as tour guides into the wonderfully diverse culture of Bankstown Girls High School. The visit allows Chikushi Jogakuen students to spend a whole day engaging with and participating in a series of learning activities, such as baking Anzac Cookies, creating jewellery, playing a game of touch footie; and partaking in musical performances.  The visit enables our girls to engage in a cross-cultural exchange, which is invaluable to their learning experience as global citizens.
