BGHS enters the virtual world!

In conjunction with the NSW Department of Education, STEMShare are providing schools with various technology kits to loan for a semester at a time. This semester the staff and students of BGHS are lucky enough to utilise the Virtual Reality kit and we are diving head first to as many of the experiences as possible!!

So far, the Coding Club and the STEAMpunk girls have had a play around with the kit, with plans to develop their own virtual worlds using Google Tour Creator while the staff of the STEAM team spent an afternoon of professional development trying out some of the apps installed onto the kit. We are looking forward to working out some more capabilities of the kit in the coming weeks and having more girls involved in using this powerful piece of equipment.
