The Year 7 Foundations for Learning program has launched into their STEAM focus. The students will be working in teams to use Lego and reverse engineering to plan, build and pull apart Minecraft inspired figurines to create a set of instructions for people aged 10 and over. This focus will not only give all students some exposure to the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) areas, but also Future Focussed Learning skills such as collaboration, communication, critical and creative thinking.
